Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH), 16-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Streaks now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Madison will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Edgewood falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Perry (Perry, OH) to battle the Pirates in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Monday, April 24. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 4-7.
