Escondido Charter White Tigers (Escondido, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The White Tigers now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Escondido Charter will face a Panthers squad coming off a 22-3 league loss to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Santa Fe Christian falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Classical Academy (Escondido, CA) to face the Caimans in a Coastal challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Caimans enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Classical Academy lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA)
