The Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) softball the visiting Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), 12-8 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes go into the A/2A District 4 bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Dora was routed by Loving (Loving, NM), 20-0, in a league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Loving for a A/2A District 4 bout on Saturday, April 22. Eunice will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Dora (Dora, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 10-4.
