California High School Softball - Fillmore bounces Hueneme

The Fillmore Flashes routed the visiting Hueneme Vikings softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Flashes (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA). The Cardinals go into the Citrus Coast battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Santa Paula topped San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Channel Islands for a Citrus Coast battle on Monday, April 24. Hueneme will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-10.
