New York High School Softball - Fort Plain bounces Oppenheim-Ephratah

The Fort Plain Hilltoppers routed the host Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks softball squad by a final score of 15-5 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Hilltoppers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Middleburgh was routed by Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY), 19-3, in a league battle.
The Hawks now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Canada Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, April 24. Oppenheim-Ephratah will confront a Indians squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NY). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.
