In Friday's non-league outing, the host Grand Saline Indians softball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Van Vandals.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 outing, on Monday, April 24. Grand Saline will attempt to upgrade on its 21-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX).
