North Carolina High School Softball - South Columbus bounces Heide Trask

The crowd at Friday's league match between the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) and the host Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), saw South Columbus's softball squad nip Heide Trask by a count of 9-2.
The Stallions now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 25. South Columbus will face a Gators squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Gators record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Heide Trask falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Titans host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to face the Wolfpack in a Waccamaw 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 25. The Wolfpack enter the match with a record of 8-10. Whiteville won 24-0 in their recent league match against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
