Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 18-2 in a league challenge.
The Storm now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 25.
With the loss, High Point Central falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Bison host Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Mid-State 3A challenge on Monday, April 24. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Eastern Guilford won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)
