Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they host Harlan for a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Saturday, April 22. Taft will face a Hawks squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Jay falls to 7-18 on the campaign.
