Kimberly Bulldogs (Kimberly, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID), 23-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gooding for a 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Kimberly will battle a Senators squad coming off a 16-9 league win over Filer (Filer, ID). The Senators record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Weiser falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Fruitland (Fruitland, ID) to battle the Grizzlies in a 3A Snake River Valley challenge on Monday, April 24. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 4-14. Fruitland lost 20-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID)
