Spectators at Friday's league match between the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) and the host Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), witnessed Liberty's softball squad prevail over Minarets by a count of 11-0.

The Hawks now sport a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Yosemite for a Northwest Sequoia- North match on Tuesday, April 25. Liberty will face a Badgers squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Minarets moves to 1-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to face the Tribe in a Northwest Sequoia- North match on Tuesday, April 25. The Tribe go into the match with a record of 10-6. Chowchilla won 18-8 in their recent league match against Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA)
