Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mathews for a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, Maplewood falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Rockets host St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to battle the Fighting Herald in a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Fighting Herald enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. St. John lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Lordstown (Warren, OH)
