Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rappahannock County for a Bull Run challenge on Monday, April 24. Page County will face a squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Strasburg falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Rams host East Rockingham (Elkton, VA) to face the Eagles in a Bull Run challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. East Rockingham won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA)
