San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Eden for a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Wednesday, April 26. San Lorenzo will battle a Monarchs squad coming off a 12-5 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Tennyson falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Lancers host Hayward (Hayward, CA) to battle the Farmers in a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Farmers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Hayward lost 21-2 in their recent league challenge against Encinal (Alameda, CA)
