Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) and the visiting Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD), witnessed Williamsport's softball squad tip Walkersville by a count of 8-7.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Middletown for a non-league match on Monday, April 24. Williamsport will face a Knights squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
