The Stamford Black Knights baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers to 1 in the Black Knights league win on Monday.

The Black Knights now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Darien for a Fairfield County test on Wednesday, April 23. Stamford will clash with a Blue Wave team coming off a 9-4 league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Bridgeport Central drops to 0-5 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 6-9. Notre Dame Prep lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Bethel (Bethel, CT)
