Hayesville will clash with a Black Knights team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, Cherokee drops to 2-8 on the year. The Braves host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to clash with the Maroon Devils in a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Maroon Devils go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Swain County won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC)
