The Lake Flyers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Genoa Area Comets to 1 in the Flyers league win on Monday.

The Flyers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rossford for a Northern Buckeye test on Wednesday, April 23. Lake will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Otsego (Tontogany, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.

With the defeat, Genoa Area drops to 1-4 on the year. The Comets travel to Eastwood (Pemberville, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a Northern Buckeye test on Wednesday, April 23. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 8-2. Eastwood won 17-8 in their recent league test against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH)
