The Tina-Avalon Dragons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Higbee Tigers to 2 in the Dragons non-league win on Monday.
The Dragons now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bosworth for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22.
With the defeat, Higbee drops to 3-12 on the year. The Tigers host Glasgow (Glasgow, MO) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Class 1 District 12 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 6-5. Glasgow lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Tipton (Tipton, MO)
