The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) baseball the visiting Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH), 4-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Chieftains now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Hopewell-Loudon will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 12-7 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Woodmore drops to 9-5 on the year. The Wildcats host New Riegel (New Riegel, OH) to clash with the Blue Jackets in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Blue Jackets go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. New Riegel won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH)
