Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO), 12-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lamar moves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Thunder host Burlington (Burlington, CO) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 5-7. Burlington won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Calhan (Calhan, CO)

The Thunderbolts now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league match on Friday, April 25. Rye will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Trinidad (Trinidad, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 9-3.
