The Monticello Sages baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to 3 in the Sages non-league win on Monday.

The Sages now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salt Fork for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Monticello will clash with a Storm team coming off a 15-0 league win over Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Storm record now stands at 10-4.

With the defeat, Maroa-Forsyth drops to 9-4 on the year. The Trojans host Williamsville (Williamsville, IL) to clash with the Bullets in a Sangamo test on Tuesday, April 22. The Bullets go into the test with a record of 8-5. Williamsville lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
