The Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) baseball trounced the host Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC), 16-3 in Monday's league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Fox Creek for a 3A Region 5 challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Newberry will clash with a Predators team coming off a 11-5 league win over Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC). The Predators record now stands at 15-5.
With the defeat, Silver Bluff drops to 3-14 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Keenan (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Raiders in a 3A Region 5 challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Keenan lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Swansea (Swansea, SC)
