St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 7-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, St. John-Vianney advances its record to 5-5 on the season. The Lancers travel to Neptune (Neptune, NJ) to battle the Scarlet Fliers in a Shore - B North match on Tuesday, April 22. The Scarlet Fliers come into the match with a record of 1-7.
The Bucs now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rumson-Fair Haven for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22. Red Bank Regional will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
