The Albemarle Patriots soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Louisa County for a Jefferson bout on Thursday, April 24. Albemarle will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Charlottesville moves to 4-3 on the year. The Black knights travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to play the Warriors in a Jefferson bout on Thursday, April 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Western Albemarle won 7-0 in their recent league bout against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
