In Monday's league outing, the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Sanderson Spartans.

The Crusaders (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Topsail was overwhelmed by Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a Cap Six 4A outing, on Wednesday, April 23. Sanderson will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 8-7 record after their 5-2 league loss to Broughton (Raleigh, NC).
