The Castro Valley Trojans baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host San Leandro Pirates to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.
The Trojans now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a test on Wednesday, April 23. Castro Valley will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, San Leandro drops to 6-2 on the year. The Pirates host Hayward (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Farmers in a test on Wednesday, April 23. The Farmers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
