The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Chaparral Lobos to 1 in the Desert Warriors non-league win on Monday.

The Desert Warriors now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Silver for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Santa Teresa will play a Fighting Colts team coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Deming (Deming, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 6-7.

With the defeat, Chaparral drops to 1-6 on the year. The Lobos host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to play the Desert Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26.
