The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds triumphed over the host Holmes Bulldogs baseball squad by a score of 14-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Thoroughbreds battle the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Newport Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Bluebirds come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Campbell County (Alexandria, KY).
