The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the American History Eagles (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ), observed American History's softball team get by Bergen Charter by a tally of 12-8.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, McNair Academic tipped Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ), 26-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the battle the Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 23. Bergen Charter will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Ghosts go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 12-0 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).
