The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR) and the host Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR), observed Atkins's softball team get by Baptist Prep by a tally of 6-1.

The Red Devils (14-4) will now prepare for their bout against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Cardinals go into the 3A Region 5 outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Harmony Grove got by Jessieville (Jessieville, AR), 17-9, in a league outing.

With the loss, Baptist Prep moves to 9-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dover (Dover, AR) to encounter the Pirates in a 3A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-16. Dover lost 7-1 in their recent non-league outing against Mansfield (Mansfield, AR)
