The Streamwood Sabres overwhelmed the host Aurora East Tomcats softball squad by a count of 20-14 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Sabres meet the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Streamwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL).

The Tomcats (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams go into the Upstate Eight challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Glenbard East held off Fenton (Bensenville, IL), 8-0, in a league challenge.
