In Monday's league match, the visiting St. Charles North North Stars softball team scored a tight 9-7 win over the Batavia Bulldogs.
The North Stars (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers come into the DuKane match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Wheaton-Warrenville South nipped Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 4-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Batavia will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Argo (Summit, IL).
