In Monday's non-league test, the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), by a tally of 18-0.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a District 61 test, on Tuesday, April 22. Bath County will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 15-3 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Mason County (Maysville, KY).

The Cougars (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Menifee County was routed by Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 18-0, in a league test.
