The Tomales Braves got by the visiting Calistoga Wildcats softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Potter Valley Bearcats (Potter Valley, CA) in a North Central II challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Tomales will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 12-2 league loss to Willits (Willits, CA).
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Laytonville (Laytonville, CA). The Warriors go into the North Central II challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Laytonville held off Technology (Rohnert Park, CA), 25-3, in a league challenge.
