The Cherokee Chiefs softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Camden Catholic Fighting Irish to 4 in the Chiefs non-league win on Monday.
The Chiefs now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington Township for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Cherokee will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Deptford (Deptford, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Camden Catholic moves to 5-5 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Olympic - National battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a record of 1-5. Seneca lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ)
