In Monday's non-league test, the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), by a tally of 15-1.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Centerburg Trojans (Centerburg, OH) in a Knox Morrow Athletic test, on Wednesday, April 23. Cardington-Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 13-1 league win over Loudonville (Loudonville, OH).
The Spartans (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Ontario (Ontario, OH). The Warriors go into the Mid Ohio Athletic test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Ontario prevailed over Clear Fork (Bellville, OH), 2-1, in a league test.
