The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) and the visiting Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN), observed Orono's softball team get by Chanhassen by a tally of 6-2.

The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN). The Orioles go into the Metro West bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, St. Louis Park tipped Chaska (Chaska, MN), 13-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) in a Wright County bout, on Wednesday, April 23. Chanhassen will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 11-0 league loss to New Prague (New Prague, MN).
