The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Curtis Warriors (Staten Island, NY) and the host Scholars Academy (Queens, NY), observed Curtis's softball team get by Scholars Academy by a tally of 6-4.

The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY). The Railsplitters go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Lincoln tipped New Utrecht (Brooklyn, NY), 22-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the clash with the Grand Street Campus Wolves (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Scholars Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Wagner (Staten Island, NY).
