The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) and the visiting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN), observed Wabasso's softball team notch a victory over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop by a tally of 16-1.

The Rabbits (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers go into the Tomahawk bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Springfield was routed by Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN), 19-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a Tomahawk bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 5-2 league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN).
