In Monday's non-league test, the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY), by a tally of 16-0.

Next, the Braves clash with the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 22. Union County will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Marshals go into the test with a 20-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY).

The Storm (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons go into the District 7 test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Madisonville-North Hopkins prevailed over Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY), 9-2, in a non-league test.
