The Johnsburg Skyhawks edged the host Plano Reapers softball squad by a count of 17-16 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Skyhawks play the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL).

The Reapers (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets enter the Kishwaukee River challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Harvard edged Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 10-2, in a non-league challenge.
