New Mexico High School Softball - Santa Fe bounces Manzano

April 21, 2025: Santa Fe, NM 87505

The Santa Fe Demons softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Manzano Monarchs to 2 in the Demons league win on Monday.

The Demons now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Cueva for a 5A District 2 battle on Saturday, April 26. Santa Fe will confront a Bears team coming off a 20-0 league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Bears record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Manzano moves to 5-17 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 5A District 2 battle on Saturday, April 26. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a record of 11-10. Eldorado won 14-11 in their recent league battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
