In Monday's league match, the host Mercy Tigers softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Sacred Heart Academy .
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Law (Milford, CT). The Lawmen come into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Law notched a victory over Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT), 3-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the battle the Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT).
