Nevada High School Softball - Mineral County succumbs to Smith Valley

In Monday's league test, the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), by a tally of 12-0.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA) in a 1A Northern test, on Tuesday, April 29. Smith Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 4-10 record after their 16-1 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV).
The Serpents (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Vandals go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Eureka was routed by Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 18-2, in a league test.
