Ohio High School Softball - Northmont bounces Springfield

In Monday's league match, the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts softball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Springfield Wildcats.
The Thunderbolts (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Springboro (Springboro, OH). The Panthers go into the Greater Western Ohio match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Springboro was routed by Little Miami (Morrow, OH), 8-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio match, on Wednesday, April 23. Springfield will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 7-7 record after their 8-7 league loss to Springboro (Springboro, OH).
