The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) and the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY), observed Saugerties's softball team notch a victory over Our Lady of Lourdes by a final score of 12-0.

The Sawyers (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Panthers go into the Mid Hudson Athletic bout with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, Wallkill beat Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY), 16-4, in a league outing.

With the loss, Our Lady of Lourdes moves to 1-4 on the season. The Warriors host New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) to encounter the Huguenots in a Mid Hudson Athletic outing on Wednesday, April 23. The Huguenots come into the outing with a record of 4-3. New Paltz lost 13-10 in their recent league outing against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY)
