The Southern Regional Rams softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers to 2 in the Rams non-league win on Monday.

The Rams now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson Memorial for a Shore - A South battle on Wednesday, April 23. Southern Regional will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 14-0 league win over Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Point Pleasant Boro moves to 7-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ) to confront the Griffins in a Shore - B South battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Griffins come into the battle with a record of 9-0. Donovan Catholic won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Toms River East (Toms River, NJ)
