The Sayreville Bombers triumphed over the host South Brunswick Vikings softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Bombers meet the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) in a GMC - White challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Sayreville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 15-0 league win over J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ).
The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Patriots enter the GMC - White challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Colonia overcame Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ), 5-2, in a league challenge.
