The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) and the visiting Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL), observed Stevenson's softball team prevail over Warren Township by a tally of 14-2.

The Patriots (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the North Suburban bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Zion-Benton was routed by Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 6-0, in a league bout.

Next up, the Blue Devils face the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban contest, on Wednesday, April 23. Warren Township will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 9-6 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL).
